We had Abigail on January 16th. She weighed 7lbs 11oz and was 2o inches long. Jerry loves his little sister and has to know where she is at all the time. It is super cute. Right now all she does is eat, sleet and poop. HEHE

The other day we got our first really big snow storm, with power outages and everything. Eric did not have to work so we bundled Jerry up and took him out for his first time to play in the snow...or NOOOO as he calls it...does not get that S sound out yet.

Our Jerry was one year old on March 23rd. We had a huge party for him and he got lots of fun toys, that of course are not spread from one end of the house to the other. He has a hard time deciding which ones he wants to play with so he gets them ALL out.

We got this for Jerry awhile ago, actually Grandma and PaPa bought this a long time ago for the first grandbaby and it has been out in the garage, so Daddy went and got it out for Jerry. Of course now he has about 850 balls in there...and let me tell you those are fun to clean. ;-)

Actaully these are Jerry's first pair of shoes...yes I said first pair, if you can believe that. Jerry has really wide feet and I could not find any shoes for him until my friend Roxanne told me about Striderite in Birch Run. So we went and found him some shoes in like 5 min...Grandma was with as so she bought his first pair...aren't they cute?

Jerry is now walking all the time...he is so good, it took him about 2 weeks to get good but now he is off. He loves Cherrios and of course Pizza. He now weights 21lbs, cannot remember how tall though.

Christmas time is so ruff!!! This little guy was so tired he had no nap (this would have been on the 23rd), I sat him in his highchair to make his bottle and he was out.

I am sure you noticed the fly swatter. Well here is the story. If you can see there are hooks next to the highchair and that is where the fly swatter has always hung. Jerry has to have it whenever he sits there...even if he is eating. Silly baby!!!

1st Hair Cut

Well Jerry got his first real hair cut on the 23rd of December. He was so funny, daddy was cutting his own hair and Jerry really wanted the clippers so we decided to cut his hair too. He did pretty good. I sat on the toilet (yes the toilet!) and held him while he played with the toilet paper. That seemed to keep him as still as he was going to be.

My brother and I took Jerry and Logan out trick-or-treating. Not sure they were all that excited about the costumes!! Don't know if you can tell or not but Logan was a horse. It was so funny to see him crawl with that costume on, he could not see and would bump into things, good thing that horse head was really padded.

In the morning while I am getting ready for work, Jerry will either watch CMT or PBS. Last week we were watching CMT and the song by Sugarland called "Stay" came on...this is not the first time he has seen this video. Well as you can tell by the look on his face he loves her. He will sit there and smile and stare at her the whole time the video is on.

He is starting to get the hang of holding on to his bottle by himself, he can kind of hold the 4oz bottles but the 8oz bottles are alittle bit heavier.

I gave him apple juice the other day and he liked to chew on it instead of drink it becasue it was nice and cold on that new tooth that he has now.

Ok, here is the story behind these pictures. I was rocking Jerry to sleep and my brother had called me, well my phone died because I have not had time to look for my charger. So Jerry was not quite asleep yet, so I went to get my charger and plug my phone in. I sat Jerry down just for a second to plug my phone in (really how long does that take). Can you believe it Jerry is already two months old and is 12lbs, 22 inches. We went to the doctors yesterday so that he could get his shots, he did pretty good considering what they did to him.

So I got up for a 5am feeding and guess what? The tv picture went out. So what do you do to keep yourself from falling asleep??? When I called the tv repair, they wanted around $300-400 dollars or more to fix our tv, so when Eric got home we went to look at new tv's. We got one of course and ended up spending more than we wanted but it is a sweet tv (57")!

Well tonight Jerry is staying the night and Grandma and Grandpa Federspiels house...mommy and daddy have been really sick this week and need to get some rest. So Grandma Cathy offered to come and take him for the night. This is actually the second night that he has stayed there. He also stayed the night last Saturday night, Grandma just cannot get enough of him.

Jerry sure was not very happy when we tried to give him his first bath...my mom (Grandma Sharon) and I did the best we could but he was yelling tons. He is not a big fan of having no clothes on (which could be a good thing for when he gets older-hehe). My mom has been with us all this first week that Jerry has been home. Thanks Mom!
